Latest move in company’s stellar series of sports sponsorships which aim to bring TCL’s global community closer
[Hong Kong, February 5, 2018] TCL, a global leading TV and Air conditioner manufacturer, and leading consumer electronics brand, today announced that Neymar Jr., one of the world’s most influential and widely-recognized athletes, has been appointed as the company’s Global Brand Ambassador.
The exclusive partnership with Neymar Jr. is TCL’s latest initiative in an extensive programme of premium sports sponsorships worldwide, which underpin the company’s goal to connect with its growing community and fulfilling its commitment to its global consumers.
The agreement will last for two years, during which time Neymar Jr. will appear on TCL TV and print commercials across its major businesses including TCL Multimedia (the group’s TV business) and household appliances, and he will also participate in a series of high impact, global, online and offline marketing campaigns for the brand.
The two parties will also join forces for charity. The deal with 26-year-old Brazilian football superstar Neymar Jr. is part of TCL’s global brand strategy and will help TCL embrace a wide audience of young sports fans worldwide and raise TCL’s global brand visibility.

The company’s other global sports partners include NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx, soccer team San Jose Earthquakes, Brazilian Football Confederation (Brazil), Rosario Central Football Club (Argentina), Philippine Basketball Association (Philippines), The Melbourne Cup and Melbourne Victory Football Club (Australia). It also works with entertainment industry partners including the Hollywood’s TCL Chinese Theatre, The Ellen Show, and the popular Warner Bros. Pictures movie Justice League.
